William St. Stormwater Overflow

March 3, 2017. Drains turned into fountains on the corner of William St. and Darlinghurst Road, Kings Cross. Although the drain was overflowing, the pavement was perfectly suited to becoming a temporary waterfall and the water cascaded down the hill smoothly. I think water from Kings Cross ends up in the Harbour. It would probably exit into the harbour near Finger Wharf in Woolloomooloo because (thinking with topography rather than any actual plans of the pipes) that is the lay of the land at that point, and stormwater works with gravity.
